‘There’s a Tiger in the Garden’ was inspired by the arrival of artist Emily Powell and her vibrant wooden sculptures of tigers that were scattered throughout the garden. I loved the playfulness of this which felt therapeutic after the challenging work at Levant and Boat Cove. I have used Turin print as a background for this piece, picking out the magical elements and surrounding them in gold. The tiger image existed within the Turin print, which was a lovely surprise.
