I interpret ‘Fractured Landscape (Levant)’ as an aerial view of Levant Mine. You can clearly see the ‘footprint’ of the industrial buildings and processing areas. The blue circle depicts an open mine shaft. Two long beams of wood cross the edges of the shaft, maybe acting as supports for the walls. Small patches of arsenic lay like snow in areas nearby.
